           "Winners of the 2009 UK Songwriting Contest"

The team at Musical Creations are delighted to announce that our original classical crossover song entitled "Unica" has won the 2009 UK Songwriting Contest's open category.

Musical Creations this year entered 2 versions of the same song, our Italian version "Unica" which won, has a four part harmony for the tenor voice and our version "Believe in Me" which is in Italian and English for the solo tenor voice gained the runner up position.

Musical Creations won the competition in 2004 with our original song "Rimpianto" which has now been recorded by one of the UK's finest tenor artists Jon Christos, and which is in included on his forthcoming album due for imminent release.

Our thanks as always go to Jon who recorded the vocals for both our demo songs (including all four part harmonys) that achieved success in this years UK Songwriting Contest and his manager Perry Hughes  of Roots Music Group

Our thanks also go to the team at the UK Songwriting Contest who have become more professional with each passing year and have managed to gain more exposure for the winners of this worldwide competition including pages on myspace

Both "Unica" and "Believe in Me" are new Musical Creations compositions that have not been recorded yet.
